First off let me say thanks to Josh, Paul, and Brian for helping me with all of the site improvements you’re seeing now! There are more to come as soon as we can find some time in our schedules. Since we now look like a real site, I’ve been more motivated to blag a bit more.

So let me today focus on the model I saw for the first time the other day, the Troll Runebearer. He’s a two point solo with a standard Troll statline, and has two * Actions: Once per game, he can cast a 3 fury or less spell from his warlock’s spell list (like a Skarlock), and the other is Harmonious Exaltation (spend 1 less fury to cast warlock’s next spell).

I’m veeeeeery divided on this guy. On one hand, we does fill a niche in a Troll list, especially with the Madraks, the Doomys, and Calandra. On the other hand, he costs the same as the Hierophant while doing less. The once per game Skarlock functionality really doesn’t do it for me. Additionally, Borka cannot take him at the moment due to the fact that he already has a model attached to him.

I’ll be very interested to see how the local Trollblood players run him, and I’m eager to see if the quality of the attachments increases for other factions. I’m really hoping that the Skorne attachment does something better!
